Motorcycle Show MoMa: Tallinn, 15th of May 2010
The Motorcycle Show MoMa is the only motorcycle show in the Estonian capital Tallinn in 2010. The show is organized by motorcycle enthusiasts themselves, the main organizers are NGO Motomaania and Estonian motorcycle magazine Motomaania.
The organizers’ aim is to engage as many and as wide a scope of participants in the motorcycle market and field of Estonia as possible. The show is as democratic as possible, offering the opportunity to participate that would be as financially within everybody’s means as possible. The participants range from large companies like Honda Baltic to small NGO-s and clubs like the Saku Moped Club or the Estonian Hobby Motocross Club. There is also a special area for project bikes and historic machines.
One of the main messages of the show is to introduce motorcycles, scooters, mopeds and two-wheeled electrically powered machines as an environmentally friendly and fun means of transportation to the wider public. There will be a special exhibit concerning this topic and there also will take place activities before and during the show to promote the idea.
The show takes place in a developing yacht marina and boat yard, Port Noblessner, that is the closest marina to the Tallinn City Center. Hence the name of the show denotes links between moto and marine – MoMa.
